There was a moment in the film where Sanjay Dutt explains to his mother (Reema Lagoo) the value of the gold he wears, while uttering the most famous dialogue ‘Yeh Dekh Pacchas Tola’. Directed by Mahesh Manjrekar, the film also featured Namrata Shirodkar, Sanjay Narvekar, Mohinish Bahl, Paresh Rawal, Reema Lagoo and Shivaji Satam in lead roles.

There was a lovely Diwali scene in the 1994 Bollywood film ‘Hum Aapke Hain Koun’, in which Renuka Shahane’s character gives birth to a lovely baby boy in the midst of the festival. The whole family celebrates Diwali on the occasion of his arrival. A popular song from this film ‘Diktana’ is memorable. Directed by Sooraj Barjatya, the film also featured Salman Khan, Madhuri Dixit and Mohnish Bahl in important roles.

Inspired by the 1993 Hollywood film Mrs. Doubtfire, this Hindi comedy remake starred Tabu, Amrish Puri, Om Puri, Johnny Walker, Paresh Rawal, Rajendranath Zutshi, Ayesha Julka, Nassar and Fatima Sana Shaikh in lead roles.
