In a video of about a minute, Akshay announced the OTT release of his film ‘Sarfira’ and said, ‘You don’t need anyone’s permission on the ground to dream of the sky. It is the story of a common man whose dream was to make airplane travel possible for every common man.’ He further said, ‘The world tried a lot to stop him, stopped him from spreading his wings, even called him a freak but he didn’t stop. Because a freak is one who breaks the rules made by the world.’ ‘Sarfira’ will be released on OTT in the coming month.

Akshay Kumar’s ‘Sarfira’ is streaming on Disney+ Hotstar from October 11. The OTT platform announced this on Thursday. Written by Sudha and Shalini Ushadevi, with dialogues by Pooja Tolani and music by GV Prakash Kumar, ‘Sarfira’ is produced by Aruna Bhatia, Uth superstar Surya and Jyotika and Vikram Malhotra (Abundantia Entertainment).
