The 70th National Awards had already been announced. Today i.e. on 8th October, the awards are being given at Vigyan Bhawan in New Delhi. On this occasion, President Draupadi Murmu is giving awards to all the winners with her own hands. Bollywood actor Manoj Bajpayee received his fourth National Film Award on Tuesday. He received this honor for his acting in the film ‘Gulmohar’ released on OTT.

President Draupadi Murmu presented this prestigious award to Manoj at the 70th National Film Awards ceremony held at Vigyan Bhawan in the national capital. Manoj expressed his gratitude on winning the award and thanked the film’s director and other co-stars. He said that it is a big thing when such a small film makes its presence felt at the National Film Awards. The actor said, ‘I feel honored. I can’t take all the credit myself. I thank my director who offered me this film and everyone who worked with me, all my co-stars who supported my work. The actor has also described himself as fortunate.

Manoj told how the story of the film is

Manoj Bajpayee further said, ‘I also thank my audience who loved me. Directed by Rahul V Chittela, ‘Gulmohar’ revolves around the Batra family of multiple generations who are set to move out of their 34-year-old family home – Gulmohar and how this change in their lives leads to the rediscovery of those bonds. ‘Who have kept them together as a family with secrets and insecurities.’
