Made debut with Bobby
Rishi Kapoor made his debut with the film ‘Bobby’. This film was released in 1973. Dimple Kapadia was seen with Rishi Kapoor in this film and it proved to be a big hit at the box office. Rishi Kapoor had worked with Amitabh Bachchan in many films in his film career, but he has written in his biography that there was always a tension between him and Amitabh Bachchan about which both of them never mentioned. He wrote in his biography that he was never comfortable with Amitabh. That’s why even on the set he used to call him Amitabh.
Married Neetu Singh in 1980
Rishi Kapoor had a fight with his girlfriend during the film ‘Zahreela Insaan’. Neetu Singh was then working with him in ‘Zahreela Insaan’. Then Neetu Singh used to write telegrams on behalf of Rishi Kapoor to his girlfriend. However, this was the film, during the shooting of which both of them gradually started coming closer and then in 1980, both of them got married. After marriage, in the same year, both of them welcomed their daughter Riddhima Kapoor into this world and in 1982, Neetu gave birth to son Ranbir. While Riddhima maintained distance from Bollywood despite being from a big film family, Ranbir is a well-known name in Bollywood today.
