Shivaraj Kumar Surgery: Kannada film actor Shivarajkumar underwent surgery at a hospital in Miami, America, in which his cancerous bladder was removed. Dr. Murugesh Manoharan, who performed the surgery, gave this information in a video message. Dr. Manoharan also said that an artificial bladder was created using the actor’s intestine. In the video, the doctor spoke with Karnataka Primary and Secondary Education Minister Madhu Bangarappa and Shivarajkumar’s wife Geeta. Geeta is Bangarappa’s sister.
Later, the actor’s family issued a press release saying, “We are pleased to share an update on Shivarajkumar’s recent medical procedure. The surgery conducted on Wednesday was successful and Shivarajkumar’s condition is now stable and improving.
Manoharan has confirmed that the surgery was successful. The statement said that the actor’s health is being monitored and he is being looked after by a dedicated team of skilled doctors and medical personnel. The family thanked Shivarajkumar’s fans, colleagues and well-wishers for their continued support and prayers.
Shivarajkumar is the eldest of the three sons of famous Kannada film actor Rajkumar. He made his film debut in 1974 with the film ‘Srinivasan Kalyan’ and worked in more than 125 Kannada films. He made his mark with films like ‘Janumada Jodi’, ‘Jogi’, ‘Anand’, ‘Rath Saptami’, ‘Nammura Mandara Hoov’, ‘Om’ and ‘Chigurida Kanasu’.
