This powerful short film was released on November 27 to commemorate the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women, which falls on November 25. This short film gives a strong message against the cruelty endured by women across the world. The poster and teaser of this film was released on 25 November and now this film is also present among the audience.

Recently, the brutal sexual attack on a female doctor at Kolkata’s RG Kar Hospital shook the country, sparking protests and debate. Yet, as the headlines fade away i.e. Nirbhaya case, Hathras case and many other cases, the heinous cycle of violence continues, with countless daughters, sisters, mothers and wives being victimized. The sobbing soul makes one realize that women are not safe anywhere in the society, neither inside the house nor outside.

Rajneesh Lal, founder and producer of Jigsaw Pictures, said, “This film was born out of the need to deliver a message that will resonate deeply among both women and men who respect them. We joined hands with Abdullah Saleem for this film. Milaya, whose sensitivity and understanding of the subject made him the ideal director for this emotional project.
