Govinda was going to Kolkata
Govinda was to go to Kolkata today morning by 5:45 flight. Govinda was about to leave home for the airport at 4:30. Govinda told that before leaving the house at 4:30 in the morning, he wanted to take out his revolver from the cupboard and keep it in a suitcase. As soon as he moved forward to put the revolver in the case, the revolver fell down and misfired. The bullet hit the actor’s leg, after which he was taken to the hospital in an injured condition and the police was informed about the incident.

The actor also told that when this accident happened, a bodyguard was also present with him. This bodyguard was provided to the actor by the Protection Branch of Mumbai Police. This bodyguard took Chichi to the hospital after she was shot and also informed the local police about this entire incident. According to police investigation, the revolver with which Govinda was shot had 6 bullets loaded in it. That means Govinda narrowly escaped in this accident.
