Adnan Sami announced on Monday morning that his mother Begum Naureen Sami Khan died on October 7 at the age of 77. The singer has also posted his mother’s picture on social media while writing an emotional note.

Adnan Sami wrote, ‘With great sadness I am informing you all about the demise of my beloved mother Begum Naureen Sami Khan… We are deeply saddened. Everyone has got a tremendous shock after hearing this news. She was an incredible woman who treated every person with great respect and lived with them lovingly and happily. We will miss him very much. Please pray for the peace of his soul. May Allah bless our dear mother in Jannat-ul-Firdous…Amen.

Soon after she shared the heartbreaking news on social media, her fans and followers expressed their condolences. Actress Mini Mathur commented on his post, ‘Dear Adnan, Roya and Madina, I am deeply saddened by your mother’s death. I will pray that your family gets strength to come out of this grief and that your mother gets heaven. Singer Raghav wrote, ‘May Allah give him the best place in heaven. There is no greater sorrow than losing a mother. May Allah give you the strength to bear this sorrow.
Who were Adnan Sami’s parents?
Adnan Sami was born on 15 August 1971 in London and grew up there. His father Arshad Sami Khan was an Afghan, Pashtun from Pakistan, while his mother Naureen Khan was from Jammu. Adnan’s father was a pilot in the Pakistan Air Force and later became a senior government official, serving as Pakistan’s ambassador to 14 countries.
