He said that courage is necessary to do everything in life. I am from Karampura, a small village in New Delhi. Today, I am standing here at a global event like IIFA.
What is bringing me back is courage. Honey Singh was one of the most sought-after artists in the Hindi music industry in the 2010s. Honey Singh, who has graced many Bollywood albums with his voice, has also acted in some Hindi films. However, he later suffered from bipolar disorder and stepped away from the entertainment industry. With the help of treatment and his willpower, he returned to the world of music. By ‘courage’, Honey means the difficulties which he overcame with the power of his willpower and then made a remarkable comeback in the music field.
AI will prove to be a boon for music
When asked about the increasing use of AI in music and art, he said, he likes the mix of technology and art. AI is especially amazing for music. Honey explained this through an example. He said, a boy from Delhi (Anshuman Sharma) made an AI track of Mohammed Rafi Sahab’s voice and AR Rahman’s composition of ‘Jodha Akbar’. When I heard it for the first time, I thought it was amazing. Along with this, Singer termed its excess as wrong. He further said that be it AI, music, technology, computer science, alcohol, or partying, overuse of anything is bad. He also praised Punjabi superstar Diljit Dosanjh. Said that what the boy (Diljit Dosanjh) who comes from a Sikh family did is really something different. His courage, his ability and his passion are reflected in his work. He hasn’t changed at all, he is the same Diljit Dosanjh with whom I worked on ‘The Next Level’ album.
