Government agency issued alert for those using Chrome browser.

Let us tell you that an alert has been issued by the Computer Emergency Response Team i.e. CERT-In of the Government of India. CERT-In has issued this alert for the latest issue in Google Chrome. Along with this, a warning has also been given by the agency to the users to update it immediately.
CERT-In says that if users ignore this, hackers and scammers can take advantage of this flaw in the browser to control your device, which increases the chances of getting scammed. CERT-In said that the latest issue found in Google Chrome browser can also lead to financial fraud, so you need to be very careful.
These users are at risk of cyber attack
According to CERT-In security agency, the latest security lapses of Google Chrome can impact the versions of Windows and Mac before 129.0.6668.70/.71 and Linux before 129.0.6668.70. Therefore, if your Chrome browser is earlier than this version, then update it immediately. According to the agency, hackers can take advantage of the security issue and send fake requests to trap you.
CERT-In has said that if you receive any link or message from an unknown user, then avoid clicking on it. Along with this, the agency has also asked the users to keep the automatic update setting of Google Chrome on. So that if you forget to update the Chrome browser, it gets updated automatically.
