If you use Mozilla Firefox for browsing then you need to be careful. According to the alert of CERT-In, serious flaws have been found in this browser. These flaws can cause major damage to users’ privacy and personal data.
Hackers can access data
According to the advisory, hackers can also take control of your device by taking advantage of the flaws present in Firefox. With this, hackers can access your data and also steal it. According to CERT-In, if you want to keep your data safe then you should update your browser immediately.
Flaws found in these versions
CERT-In in its advisory has pointed out major flaws in Mozilla products. According to the advisory, it has been told that many types of bugs have been found in versions before version 131 of Mozilla Firefox like 128.3 and 115.16. Apart from this, bugs have also been found in Firefox ESR version and Thunderbird versions before 128.3 and 131.
If you are using an older version, then you should immediately update the older version of Firefox to keep your data safe and maintain privacy. If you can’t update, uninstall it. Apart from this, to keep your data safe, always check the security updates of the browser.
