This humanoid robot used Artificial Intelligence i.e. AI to create a painting of the father of computer science and mathematician Mathieson Alan Turing. Bids worth crores of rupees have been made for this painting. This is probably the first painting made by any robot.

This painting made by Ai-Da has been auctioned recently for around Rs 11.13 crore. The auction of this painting has been organized by an organization named Sadbeej. Let us tell you that humanoid robot Ai-Da started making paintings from the year 2022. This robot has been created by Aidan Mellor in collaboration with AI experts from Oxford and Birmingham Universities.

This painting made by a robot has received 27 bids, which has been bought by an anonymous person from America. According to the report of The New York Times, this painting was showcased in the name of AI God, which has a picture of the British mathematician. A bid of more than 1 million dollars was made for this. An initial bid of 1.8 lakh dollars i.e. about Rs 1.5 crore was placed for this painting.

Who is Ai-Da?

Ai-Da is a humanoid robot, named after 19th century mathematician Ada Lovelance. Ada is known as the world’s first computer programmer. This humanoid robot has been developed by modern art expert Adam Meller in 2019. This robot has been created by a team of more than 30 AI researchers from Birmingham and Oxford Universities in collaboration with Aidan Mellor.

This humanoid robot has been given facial features like that of a woman. This robot is capable of drawing and painting. For this, the robot uses cameras fitted in its eyes. The cameras provided in it use AI algorithms and painting is done through a robotic arm. According to the report, this humanoid robot has made 15 different paintings so far.
