TRAI had recently changed the telecom rules. These rules have been brought by TRAI mainly to stop fake and spam calls. The new changes made by TRAI will be implemented across the country from November 1. In such a situation, if you are a customer of any operator like Jio, Airtel, Vi or BSNL, then there is news of your work.
Let us tell you that recently TRAI had instructed telecom companies to implement message traceability. For this, the date of November 1 was fixed by the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India. In such a situation, it is now expected that the new telecom rules will come into effect after about a week.
What is message traceability?
If you do not know what message traceability is, then let us tell you that this is a system in which work will be done to stop all the fake calls and messages coming in the mobile phone. From November 1, 2024, monitoring of fake and spam calls coming on your phone will increase. This new rule of TRAI will make it easier to understand and track fake calls.
Let us tell you that TRAI had given instructions to all the telecom operators in the month of August. TRAI had said that all such messages coming from banks, e-commerce as well as financial institutions which are related to telemarketing or any kind of promotions should be blocked. TRAI said in its instructions that there should be a fixed format of telemarketing messages and calls so that users can identify the calls related to it.
