Flipkart apologized for its mistake.
Flipkart is a giant company in the e-commerce sector. The company often brings new advertisements to attract its customers. These advertisements help the company to sell its products. Although most advertisements are beneficial for the company, but recently the company had to face opposition due to an advertisement posted to promote the sale.
Let us tell you that a video was posted by Flipkart to promote the sale of women’s products. In this video, it was shown that women can order handbags from the e-commerce website. Along with this, the method of storing them quietly without informing the husband was also explained in the video.
People raised strong objections
The video showed that a woman ordered a truck load of handbags. In its video, the company also explained several ways to hide the number of handbags ordered. The surprising thing is that in this video the husband was addressed as a ‘lazy, fucking and stupid husband’. As soon as this video reached the social media platform, people strongly objected to it.
The company apologized
The National Council for Men Affairs also strongly opposed this advertisement of Flipkart. Seeing the protest increasing, the video was immediately removed by Flipkart. However, the company is facing severe criticism for such advertisements. After removing the video, Flipkart expressed regret over it and said that it was posted simply due to mistake. The company said that as soon as we realized our mistake, we removed it and this will never happen again in the future.
