You can now record your dreams and rewatch them whenever you want. Yes, this can be possible now. Science and technology have progressed so much today that now nothing seems impossible. Japanese scientists have created a device that can record and playback your dreams. This device is based on brain imaging and Artificial Intelligence (AI).
Surprising results in research
ATR Computational Neuroscience Laboratories based in Kyoto, Japan has conducted a study in which it claims to record dreams. In this study conducted under the chairmanship of Professor Yukiyasu Kamitani of this lab, neural activity has been recorded with the help of Functional Magnetic Resonance Imaging (fMRI). The volunteers participating in this reached a condition called REM sleep while sleeping. When they were asked about their dreams, the information recorded by the device turned out to be true 60 percent of the time.
Professor Yukiyasu Kamitani said that we were successful in tracking the brain activity while sleeping. There are many possibilities in this technology, through which the internal sensations of the human brain can be detected. This device can make an important contribution in understanding the activities of human brain. According to the report, Dr Mark Stokes, a neurologist at Oxford University, says that this has been an unimaginable research experience in which we have been able to get so close to a dream reading machine.
Will get solution for mental health problem
This technology can make an important contribution in the investigation of people suffering from mental health problems. Scientists will continue to work to improve this technology even further. This is still the initial phase in which we have succeeded to a great extent in reading the activities of the brain. As this technology advances, we will be able to study dreams in more depth.
