India and China Army Border Area

Beijing: The military standoff that has been going on between India and China in eastern Ladakh for the last several years now seems to be ending. China has confirmed that an agreement has been reached with India to end the standoff between the two armies in eastern Ladakh. In response to questions about the agreement between China and India on border patrolling in disputed areas, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Lin Jian confirmed the current agreement. He said China and India have maintained communication through diplomatic and military channels regarding border-related issues. The agreement has been confirmed by China just before the start of the BRICS summit.

Both sides reached a solution

Lin Jian said that at present, both sides (India-China) have reached a solution to the matters, which China views positively. Lin said that in the next step, China will work with India to effectively implement the resolution plan.

Army was deployed from both sides

A large number of troops were deployed on the LAC in eastern Ladakh by both India and China. Regarding this, Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri had said on Monday that the recent agreement is leading to disengagement between the two countries and resolving the issues that had arisen in these areas in the year 2020. There was a clash between the armies of India and China in Galwan, Ladakh in the year 2020. In this, the armies of both the countries had to suffer huge losses.
