Pakistan PTI Protest: Thousands of Imran supporters have come out on the streets in Pakistan. Supporters of former Prime Minister Khan are demanding his release. In view of the protests, the capital Islamabad has been converted into a cantonment. Violence has also taken place at many places. The police have also made strict security arrangements in view of the protest, but meanwhile the protesters are also seen fully equipped.
tear gas fired
While the police is using tear gas shells to stop the protesters, Imran supporters have found a very unique way to get rid of this problem. During the protests, Imran supporters have brought with them big industrial fans used in paramotoring. These big fans, prepared specifically for the demonstration, are meant to protect the protesters from the tear gas fired by the security forces.
Fans are made only for performance
These fans have been brought loaded on special trucks. This is the first time that such big fans are being used in a political march in Pakistan. PTI’s social media chief Ikram Khattana, while talking to Pakistani newspaper Dawn, said that these fans were prepared at the local level especially for the demonstration. Khattana said, ‘There are six such fans, who are part of the convoy evacuated from Peshawar.’ He said that arrangements for electricity generators have also been made to operate these fans.
Protest turned violent
Meanwhile, let us also tell here that the demonstration by supporters of former Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan has turned violent. Four paramilitary personnel and two police personnel have been killed. More than 100 security personnel have also been injured in the violence. Government media has given information about this. Due to this violence, the government has deployed the army in the capital and has given orders that the miscreants should be shot on sight.
