Earlier, at least 24 people were killed in Israeli air strikes on two buildings east of Lebanon’s southern city of Sidon. The Health Ministry said at least 29 people were also injured in the attacks. At the same time, the second attack took place on the adjacent building, due to which it first tilted towards the right and then collapsed. Israeli air strikes intensified in the south of Lebanon and the Bekaa region on Sunday.
Attack on several positions of Houthi rebels
After the attack on Hezbollah, Israel is also attacking the positions of Houthi rebels in Yemen. The Israeli Army said in a statement that on Sunday afternoon, Israeli Air Force fighter planes carried out dozens of attacks on Houthi rebel positions in the Yemeni port city of Hodeidah. The air strikes targeted dozens of aircraft, including warplanes, power plants and a sea port at Ras Issa and Hodeidah ports in Yemen, according to a statement from the Israeli Defense Forces. The Israeli military said dozens of aircraft have struck Houthi positions in Yemen in response to the recent attacks on Israel.
