Khalistani terrorist Arshdeep Singh Gill, also known as Arsh Dalla, has been granted bail in Canada on a bond of $30,000. Dalla is wanted in India and the bail decision comes as India is pushing for Dalla’s extradition. The next hearing of his case is scheduled for February 24, 2025. Khalistani Tiger Force (KTF) acting chief Arsh Dalla was arrested in Canada for suspected involvement in an armed confrontation in Milton, Ontario on October 27 or 28, 2023. The Government of India is making continuous efforts to secure his extradition.

Last month, the Ministry of External Affairs took note of reports of the arrest of Khalistani terrorist Arsh Dalla in connection with a shooting in Canada and said it would process its request to extradite him to India. In July 2023, the Government of India requested his temporary arrest from the Government of Canada. Dalla, originally from Dala village in Moga district of Punjab, started his criminal activities as a local gangster before relocating to Canada on a study visa in 2020. He became one of India’s most wanted terrorists after he took command of the Khalistani Tiger Force (KTF) following the killing of Hardeep Singh Nijjar last year. Declared a convicted criminal by the Government of India, Dalla is linked to over 50 cases including murder, attempt to murder, extortion, terrorism and terror financing.

Since being declared an individual terrorist by India in 2023, he was wanted for several high-profile crimes, particularly against political figures like Bally and Dera Sacha Sauda member Manohar Lal. Dalla is reportedly living in Surrey, British Columbia with his wife and minor daughter. The National Investigation Agency (NIA) said he holds a passport issued by the Regional Passport Office in Jalandhar on September 1, 2017, which is valid till August 31, 2027.
