Pakistani security forces on Wednesday attacked a terrorist hideout with the help of a military helicopter in the restive province bordering Afghanistan, killing eight suspects. Police gave this information.
Local police officer Zahid Ullah said that a local terrorist commander was also among those killed in the operation conducted in Bannu district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province. He gave no further details, and it was not clear whether there were any casualties among security forces.
