Bangkok: At least 25 people, including students, are feared dead after a fire broke out in a school bus in Thailand. Fire brigade and rescue teams are on the spot. Only the officials and rescue workers have given this information. Many people have also been injured due to burn injuries during the accident, who have been admitted to the nearest hospital. There is a possibility that the death toll will increase. No exact information has been revealed yet regarding what caused the accident. Local people also joined the rescue and relief teams in extinguishing the fire and helping the victims.
According to the Bangkok Post, the bus was carrying students from a school in Uthai Thani. During this time it caught fire. Rescue workers said several young passengers died or were injured in the flames. Jor Sor 100 traffic radio network reported the bus on fire at inbound Phahon Yothin Road near Zer Rangsit Shopping Mall at 12.30 pm. Fire and Rescue Thailand and Thai PBS said the bus was carrying 38 students and six teachers from Wat Khao Praya Sangkhram in Uthai Thani’s Lan Sak district on an educational trip. His destination was not known. Traffic police radio said several passengers were killed or injured.
