New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has had an important phone conversation with his Greek counterpart Kyriakos Mitsotakis. During this, both the leaders also reviewed the progress of India-Greece bilateral relations and expressed commitment to deepen it further. An official statement said on Saturday that both the leaders reiterated their commitment to further strengthen the strategic partnership between India and Greece.
It is being told that during the phone conversation between PM Modi and Kyriakos Mitsotakis, Mitsotakis heartily congratulated PM Modi on his re-election in the general elections. They reviewed progress made in several areas of bilateral cooperation, including trade, defence, shipping and connectivity, following Mitsotakis’ visit to India earlier this year. The two leaders exchanged views on various regional and global issues, including IMEEC (India-West Asia-Europe Economic Corridor) and recent developments in West Asia, the statement said. India-West Asia-Europe Economic Corridor is an ambitious plan of PM Modi and Joe Biden. This will greatly benefit countries from Asia to Europe.
