US President Joe Biden on Wednesday praised Vice President Kamala Harris for leading a historic campaign under extraordinary circumstances during the presidential election.
“What America saw today was the Kamala Harris I know and admire so much,” Biden said in a statement. She has been a tremendous partner and a public servant of integrity, courage and quality.”
He said, “She led a historic campaign in this presidential election under extraordinary circumstances.” He said, “As I have said before, when I became a candidate for the post of President in 2020, Kamala Choosing was my first decision. This was the best decision I made. His story represents the best of America. As she made clear today, I have no doubt that she will continue this story.”
“She will continue to fight with purpose, determination and joy,” Biden said. She will remain a champion for all Americans. Most of all, she will remain a leader our children will look to for generations to come as she sets her stamp on America’s future.
