While talking to the media here, the Russian leader said that his country is in favor of talks but the efforts made in this direction were sabotaged by Ukraine itself. When PTI asked him whether he saw a role for India in peace talks between Russia and Ukraine, he cited the concern expressed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and called Modi a ‘friend’.
