Pakistan President Asif Ali Zardari broke his leg while landing from the plane at Dubai International Airport. The incident took place on Wednesday night but the office of the President of Pakistan confirmed it late on Thursday night.
According to a statement issued from Rashtrapati Bhavan, the President collapsed while deboarding the plane after which he was immediately taken to the hospital for treatment. After examination, the doctor put plaster on his leg.
“His leg will be in plaster for four weeks,” the statement said. The statement said President Zardari has been sent home and has been advised rest.
