According to the ‘United States Geological Survey’ (USGS), the earthquake’s intensity was 5.1. Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) reported its intensity as 5.3.

According to the National Seismological Monitoring Center in Islamabad, “the epicenter was in the Hindukush mountain range in Afghanistan at a depth of 220 kilometers.” Both the USGS and PMD confirmed that the earthquake occurred at 10:13 am (Pakistan time). But came. After the earthquake, people came out of their homes out of fear. However, no casualties have been reported yet. Officials said the earthquake was felt in various areas of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, Islamabad and Punjab. Earthquakes occur frequently in Pakistan. More than 74,000 people were killed in the massive earthquake in 2005.
