PM Narendra Modi US Visit: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has reached America on his three-day visit. PM Modi has been given a grand welcome on his arrival in America. PM Modi will participate in the Quad Summit here. During this, PM Modi will also have a bilateral meeting with US President Joe Biden. Many agreements will also be signed between PM Modi and Joe Biden during the US visit. At the same time, an important initiative to deal with cancer can also be started.
What did PM Modi say?
Before leaving for the US, Prime Minister Modi had said, “I look forward to meeting my colleagues President Biden, Prime Minister Albanese and Prime Minister Kishida at the Quad Summit.” He had said, “This forum has emerged as a major group of like-minded countries working for peace, progress and prosperity in the Indo-Pacific region.” The Quad includes India, the US, Japan and Australia.
Appeal for peace
It is noteworthy that among the four major countries of the world participating in the Quad Summit, the Prime Minister of India is the only leader who has met the Presidents of Ukraine and Russia in their country. PM Modi has appealed to Russian President Vladimir Putin and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to end the war. Prime Minister Modi visited Russia in July and then Ukraine in August. It is expected that PM Modi can once again take the initiative of peace in the Quad Summit.
