PM Narendra Modi

New York: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will share India’s development story at the ‘Summit of the Future’ to be held at the United Nations next week. India’s ambassador to the United Nations has given this information. India’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations Parvataneni Harish said in an exclusive interview to PTI, “I think he will share India’s domestic development story.”

PM Modi’s visit to America

Prime Minister Modi will arrive in the US on Saturday on a three-day visit, where he will attend the fourth summit of the Quad in Wilmington, Delaware. US President Joe Biden will host the annual summit of the Quad. Prime Minister Modi will then go to New York, where he will address the people of the Indian community in Long Island on September 22. After this, he will also address the ‘Summit of the Future’ to be held at the United Nations General Assembly on September 23 and after that he will leave for India.

The conference focuses on youth

Harish said the summit’s focus is particularly on youth as they are the future of the world. “India has a population of 140 crore and most of our population is young. When the Prime Minister speaks, he brings the message of India’s youth to the world,” he said. Harish said, “How can we involve our youth and make them a part of the future? How can we involve them in governance processes? As the world’s largest democracy, I believe there can be no better example than India in the way we have empowered our youth to participate in political, economic and development processes and become partners in the nation’s development.” (Language)
