Two big news came from India-China border i.e. LAC. Chinese soldiers returned while on the other hand, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh was seen visiting the border of China. Rajnath Singh celebrated Diwali together in Tawang. China’s encroachment crackers burst before Diwali. The Chinese army has packed up on the India-China border. The withdrawal of Chinese troops in Depsang and Demchak has been completed. Indian soldiers will soon continue talks at the ground commander level for patrolling in that area.

A museum dedicated to Army officer-turned-bureaucrat Major Ralengnao ‘Bob’ Khating was inaugurated by Defense Minister Rajnath Singh during his visit to Tawang, Arunachal Pradesh. Singh also unveiled a statue of India’s first home minister Vallabhbhai Patel in the border district, which is close to the Line of Actual Control (LAC). Major Khating led an expedition to Tawang in 1951. Due to his bravery Tawang became a part of India. Major Khating’s museum will constantly remind China of India’s courage in wresting Tawang from it.

It is noteworthy that the process of retreat of Chinese troops in Depsang and Demchok areas of eastern Ladakh has been completed. It has been reported that the Chinese Army has destroyed its military bunkers, tents and infrastructure near the LAC. After disengagement, the next phase will be patrolling. Which was claimed to be started soon. The big news in this is that India forced China to retreat before Diwali.
