Omaha: The first snow storm of this year has arrived in America and millions of people are facing the brunt of the weather. The snow storm has caused devastation in America’s Iowa and eastern Nebraska. The snow storm has left the Interstate 80 highway temporarily closed due to ice accumulation on roads and several vehicle skidding incidents. The situation is such that visibility has also reached almost zero. Many events scheduled in the area have been canceled due to the storm. Meanwhile, a woman has died in an accident due to snow on the roads in eastern Nebraska. People have been asked to come out of their homes only when necessary.
Strong icy winds are blowing
The Washington County Sheriff’s Office said the 57-year-old woman lost control of her vehicle on Highway 30 and collided with an oncoming truck. The driver of the truck has suffered minor injuries. Elsewhere, a hurricane warning has been issued in San Francisco due to winds reaching speeds of up to 96 kilometers per hour. The biggest danger at this time is that of Tornado. If tornadoes form in such weather, they can cause terrible destruction. This can cause huge loss of life and property.

The effects of the storm became visible in San Francisco
According to the Meteorological Department, some trees fell on cars and roads due to strong winds in San Francisco. San Francisco has not been hit by a hurricane since 2005. “This is the first warning of a possible tornado in San Francisco,” said Roger Gass, a meteorologist at the weather service’s office in Monterey, California. I believe there was no obvious warning signal on radar in 2005.” (AP)
