Washington: The Iranian army recently attacked Israel with more than 180 missiles. Now Israel is also preparing for a retaliatory attack. How should Israel respond to this attack? US President Joe Biden has given a big statement in this regard. Biden said that if he were Israeli, the enemy would consider the option of attacking the country’s oil fields. Biden said Israeli officials were still considering how they would proceed with any attack.
America supported Israel
He said that the Israelis have not yet revealed their strategy for attacking Iran. If I were in his position, I would explore options to target oil fields. Biden stressed the importance of caution regarding civilian casualties, while defending Israel’s right to respond to the attacks. “What I do know is that the plan I have proposed has the support of the United Nations Security Council and most of our global allies as a means to resolve this conflict,” he said.
Israel attacked Hezbollah positions
Israel not only has the full right to defend itself against dangerous attacks but also has the right to give a befitting reply to the enemy. Biden said that there are many terrorist organizations like Hezbollah which are also a challenge to deal with. Meanwhile, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) reported on Friday that they had destroyed more than 2,000 military targets and about 250 Hezbollah militants in the past four days.
American and British forces attacked the positions of Houthi rebels
On the other hand, American and British forces on Friday attacked more than a dozen positions of Houthi rebels in Yemen, targeting their weapon systems, bases and other equipment. US officials confirmed the attack. Yemen’s Houthi rebels are supported by Iran. According to officials, various Houthi rebel positions in five locations were bombed by military aircraft and warships. Houthi media reports said seven attacks were carried out on the airport in the major port city of Hodeida and the Houthi-controlled military base of Kathib.
