On the fourth day of the Kanpur Test, the Indian cricket team created many records. Just a day after this, the 13-year-old batsman of the Indian Under-19 cricket team has created history against Australia. At the end of the first day’s play in the first unofficial Under-19 Youth Test Match being played in Chennai, India scored 103 runs in 14 overs without losing any wicket in reply to Australia’s score of 293 runs. Were hung on the scoreboard. On the first day, Vaibhav Suryavanshi scored a brilliant half-century (81 runs on 47 balls) and 17 year old Vihaan Malhotra was unbeaten on 27 runs.

Shortly after the start of the Indian innings on the second day, young batsman Vaibhav Suryavanshi has created a new record by completing a century. He has become the youngest batsman to score a century in professional cricket. For the first time in the history of professional cricket, a 13-year-old cricketer has achieved the great feat of scoring a century. Earlier this record was in the name of Bangladesh captain Nazmul Hasan Shanto. Shanto scored a century in Youth ODI cricket against Sri Lanka Under-19 in Sylhet at the age of 14 years and 241 days.

Vaibhav is also the Indian cricketer to score the fastest century in U19 Test cricket. He broke the 6 year old record of Atharva Tayde. He scored a century in 58 balls and thus became the second fastest batsman to score a century in youth test cricket after Moeen Ali. Moeen Ali had scored a century in 56 balls in the year 2005.
