19 hospitals in Delhi-NCR empaneled under the Central Government Health Scheme (CGHS) have been suspended till further orders for indulging in fraudulent activities.
This information was given in an official order. Of these 19 hospitals, four are in Delhi and eight in Noida. The order issued on November 11 said, “…these Health Care Organizations (HCOs) committed fraud by generating fake and forged bills and enrolling beneficiaries and their family members multiple times and from time to time.” Found involved in activities.
“The matter was taken very seriously by the competent authority and it has been decided to suspend the list of 19 healthcare providers with immediate effect until further orders,” it said.
The order also said that CGHS beneficiaries admitted to any of these hospitals before the issue of this order will continue to be provided treatment at CGHS rates until their treatment is completed.
