It has been reported that some of the threats originated from London and other countries.
The Civil Aviation Ministry called a high-level meeting after 10 bomb threats in two days. The latest meeting will be held after a similar meeting held on Monday. According to reports, Civil Aviation Minister Ram Mohan Naidu held a meeting with other senior officials in the Bureau of Civil Aviation, CISF and airport security regarding the bomb hoax.

An airport security official said that in the last 24 hours we have received bomb threats in several sectors. We are looking into all the calls and have also informed the concerned police authorities about the threat to identify the person behind it. Another senior airport security official said every threat is important and they cannot ignore it as it is a matter of passenger safety. The official said that after receiving the threat, we inform the airlines and the concerned security officer at the airport for further action.
