Accused of misleading women, now Sadhguru's Isha Foundation has issued a reply

Sadhguru’s Isha Foundation responded to the allegations.

Sadhguru’s Isha Foundation is in controversy these days. In fact, the organization has been accused of misleading women. In this case, following the instructions of Madras High Court, the police on Tuesday investigated the allegations and also interrogated the people of the foundation. At the same time, amidst this entire controversy, Sadhguru’s Isha Foundation has also issued a reply. Let us know what Sadhguru’s organization has said.

In fact, S Kamaraj, a retired professor from Coimbatore, has complained that his two daughters were misled into staying at the Isha Yoga Center in Coimbatore and the foundation did not allow them to have any contact with their family. Hearing the petition, the High Court bench had directed the Tamil Nadu government to submit details of all criminal cases registered against spiritual guru Jaggi Vasudev’s Isha Foundation.

In a press release issued by Isha on this entire episode, the allegations have been refuted that Isha encourages the people present in the ashram to get married and become monks. The press release said that Isha Foundation was founded by Sadhguru to provide yoga and spirituality to people. We believe that the adult person has the freedom and intelligence to choose his own path. We do not ask people to marry or become sannyasis as these are personal choices.

Thousands of people live in Isha Yoga Center who are not Sanyasi and there are some who have taken the position of Brahmacharya or Sanyasi. Despite this, the petitioners wanted the Sanyasis to be produced before the Court and the Sanyasis have presented themselves before the Court. He has clearly stated that he is staying at Isha Yoga Center of his own free will. Now that the matter has come to the notice of the court, we hope that the truth will prevail and all the unnecessary controversies will come to an end.

The release also said that earlier, the same petitioner along with others had tried to enter our premises under the false pretext of being a fact finding committee to investigate the facts about the cremation ground being built by the Isha Foundation. Tried and then filed a criminal complaint against the people of Isha Yoga Center. Against this, the Honorable High Court of Madras has stayed the submission of the final report by the police. Apart from this, there are no other criminal cases against the foundation.

Anyone indulging in spreading misinformation against the Foundation will be dealt with strictly as per the law of the country. At present, as per the orders of the court, the police is recording the statement of every person present in the ashram, the police is taking undertaking from them whether there is any pressure on them or whether they are living voluntarily, after the completion of this process, the report will be presented to the court. Will be done.
