In a post on social media platform ‘X’, he said, “This is the truth about the preparations for Prayagraj Mahakumbh 2025 under the BJP government. At least the work of the police department should have been completed long ago because security arrangements cannot be waited till the last day.”
He wrote, “The hurt people of Prayagraj are asking that the BJP government was very prompt in removing the statue of great donor Emperor Harsh Vardhan, but why the same promptness is not being shown for the administrative management. While managing Prayagraj and the fair area, the complaints being received about ignoring the needs and problems of the surrounding residents should also be resolved immediately.”
Yadav wrote, “In case of any emergency, alternative arrangements should also be made to resolve the concerns that the residents of Prayagraj have regarding traffic and transportation. We want the Mahakumbh to be organized and Prayagraj also to remain active.” Taking a jibe at the government, the SP chief said, “If the administration fails in preparing for the Mahakumbh, then we propose to send our truly dedicated workers to help because the people of the BJP are either busy in earning money or in elections. Must be engaged in Jugaad.”
