Thousands of candidates remain on the streets outside the Commission’s office day and night. Late night, Prayagraj DM Ravindra Kumar Mandad and Police Commissioner Tarun Gaba once again talked to the students. Asked to form a delegation from the protesting students and talk to the Commission.
Lucknow. Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav will be in Prayagraj today in connection with the election campaign. During this time, the Prayagraj administration is worried about whether he should reach the protest site to meet the agitating students. Actually, the agitation of competitive students against UP Public Service Commission is continuing. Today is the fourth day of the movement. In the last approximately 70 hours, the agitating students have not moved from the protest site even for a moment.

Asked to form a delegation from the protesting students and talk to the Commission. Officials said that he is ready to mediate in the talks between the Commission and the student delegation. However, the protesting students did not agree to this. The protesting students say that they do not want any talks. The Commission has taken an arbitrary decision. The Commission should announce withdrawal of its decision. As soon as the notice to withdraw the decision is issued, he will end the movement himself.
The protesting students are demanding that the UPPCS 2024 and ROARO recruitment exams be conducted in one day and one shift. He is also opposing the normalization implemented in the examination. He says that this is playing with his future and he will not tolerate it at all. Today, even on the fourth day of the movement, a large number of candidates are sitting on the streets outside the Commission’s office. Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav can also join the students’ movement today. Akhilesh Yadav has to come to Prayagraj today. Some party leaders are preparing to bring him to the protest site, however, Akhilesh Yadav has no such program as of now, he only has to return after addressing a public meeting at Phulpur assembly seat.
