Union Home Minister Amit Shah addressed a public meeting in Shirala today regarding Maharashtra Assembly elections. During this, Shah said that voting is to be held in entire Maharashtra on 20th, and you people have to take a decisive role in it. I was visiting Maharashtra one and a half month ago. It is the same thing everywhere…people are saying that a Mahayuti government has to be formed. He said that there is a BJP government at the centre. Form NDA government in the state, both of them together will work to make Maharashtra the number 1 state.

Amit Shah said that BJP is committed to the development of Maharashtra. We stand firm on this resolution. You will have to take responsibility for the coming elections. You have to ensure that the development journey continues. Amidst the uproar in Jammu and Kashmir Assembly, Shah said that whether this Kashmir is ours or not, you tell us? Should Article 370 be removed or not? This Congress, NCP, fake Shiv Sena… they say that Article 370 should not be removed from Kashmir.
The senior BJP leader said that the entire country is troubled by some provisions of the Waqf Board made by the Congress party. To bring about a change in that, PM Modi brought a bill in the Parliament. He said that in Karnataka, entire villages and people’s land including temples have been declared Waqf property. I have come to ask Pawar Saheb and Uddhav ji to tell whether you will support or oppose this bill. They will not answer. Attacking the opposition, he said that if Mahavikas Aghadi comes to power, they will also try to transfer the land of farmers in the name of Waqf Board.
Shah said that Lord Shri Ram was sitting in the tent for 500 years. The Congress party was stalling the Ram temple, keeping it hanging. Modi ji came, and within 5 years he did the Bhoomi Pujan, did the construction, and also did the Pran Pratistha. He said that we also built the Kashi Vishwanath Corridor, and the Somnath temple is also being built of gold, no one can stop it. He said that the only solution to stop the appeasement going on here is a Mahayuti government. Nag puja will start again, it will be done with full rituals, no one can stop it.
While asking the question, Amit Shah said that I want to ask Sharad Pawar ji, your Aghadi government was in power till 2004-14, what did you do for Maharashtra? They will not give account… In 10 years, the Aghadi government gave Rs 1.91 thousand crore to Maharashtra. Meanwhile, between 2014-2024, PM Modi has given Rs 10 lakh 15 thousand crores to Maharashtra, and this has led to all-round development. He said that after the arrival of Modi ji, farmers are being given Rs 6000 every year. Rs 1400 crore is being given to 4.47 lakh farmers of this district.
Shah said that tap connections reached the homes of 4 lakh poor people. Under Ayushman Bharat, all expenses up to Rs 5 lakh were made free to 10 lakh poor people, and now people above 70 years of age will get coverage of Rs 5 lakh more. He said that we did the work of building toilets in 1.24 lakh houses. Now Devendra ji and Eknath ji have come up with Ladki Bahin Yojana, and work has been done to deposit money into the accounts of 7 lakh sisters of Sangli.

Attacking the opposition, Shah said that Kharge ji told the Congressmen to keep their promises carefully. Kharge Saheb, your leaders who make false promises make such promises which are never fulfilled. It did not happen in Karnataka, it did not happen in Himachal, it did not happen in Telangana. At the same time, whatever promise our Modi ji makes, he fulfills it. He said that these Aghadi people can neither secure the country nor increase the respect of the country. If this work has to be done, Modi ji’s hand will have to be strengthened. If you make Mahayuti win here, it means that the people of the country are with PM Modi.
