An elderly man was allegedly beaten to death for refusing to burn crackers in the Housing Board Colony of Sector-18, Faridabad, Haryana on Thursday night. Police gave this information on Friday.
A police spokesperson, quoting the complaint of the elderly’s son Vinod, said that last night, Raju, Dheeraj and Nandu, who live in his neighbourhood, were burning big firecrackers in front of his house, on which his father stopped them from doing so. Did.
According to the complainant, in such a situation they started fighting. Then he somehow intervened, but at around 1 o’clock in the night they again started burning big firecrackers at his own gate. After this his father again stopped him from bursting crackers.
The complainant alleges that on this matter they pulled his father out of the house and started beating him. Hearing the noise, he and his wife also came out and they attacked them too. His father suffered serious injuries in the attack, who died on the spot. According to the spokesperson, the police is investigating the matter.
