The Uttar Pradesh government led by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is preparing to celebrate the eighth Deepotsav in Ayodhya, which will be the first Diwali at the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi temple. This year’s festival aims to create a new world record by illuminating Ayodhya with 28 lakh eco-friendly lamps floated on the Saryu river, with the theme being environmental awareness. To participate in this, Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath has reached Ayodhya along with Union Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat.
Amidst all this, Faizabad MP Awadhesh Prasad has made a big claim. Samajwadi Party’s Awadhesh Prasad said that BJP is politicizing this festival and dividing people. He said that I have not received any pass or invitation for Deepotsav. This festival does not belong to any one community. I am going to Ayodhya today. I have not received any pass or invitation for Deepotsav. Along with this he said that I wish all the residents of Ayodhya on the occasion of Diwali.
Awadhesh Prasad said that I consider it my good fortune that I have been elected from here. BJP is also politicizing our festivals. I hope it will be a festival of brotherhood.
