Jharkhand BJP chief Babulal Marandi has made a big claim amid voting continuing on Wednesday for the second phase of Jharkhand assembly elections. He said the BJP-NDA alliance will secure more than 51 seats in the elections and form the government as people are dissatisfied with the ruling Hemant Soren-led JMM government in the state. He said that voting is taking place today for the second phase of Jharkhand assembly elections. The mood of the people in Jharkhand is to change the Hemant Soren led JMM government as they have suffered losses under his rule in the last 5 years. People will vote for change.

He was the leader of the opposition in the outgoing assembly and is also the first CM of the state after the formation of the first assembly in 2000. He is contesting against JMM’s Nizamuddin Ansari.
