Uttar Pradesh Police has made a big revelation in the investigation of Bahraich incident and said that the things being said or news being circulated on social sites and media regarding the death of Ram Gopal Mishra, who was killed in the uproar during idol immersion in Bahraich, are not being heard by the Bahraich Police. Has largely rejected. Police say that Ram Gopal Mishra died only due to bullet injury. Neither was he electrocuted nor were his nails pulled out. Police said that apart from one person, no one else has died in this incident. The police appealed to the public to not pay heed to rumors and spread misinformation to maintain communal harmony. On the other hand, the CO who lathicharged the protesters after the death of Ram Gopal Mishra has also been removed.

In fact, it was being claimed about Ram Gopal, who was killed during the idol immersion yatra in Maharajganj of Mahsi, Bahraich, that he was first brutally beaten. The nails were pulled out and then he was shot. Bahraich Police has rejected this claim. Police say that Ramgopal died due to bullet injury. It is known that on October 13, Ram Gopal Mishra, who was participating in the immersion procession, was murdered in Mahsi Maharajganj of Hardi area. The anger over the incident became so intense that violence broke out at many places. Incidents of arson were carried out from city to village and property worth crores was burnt by the miscreants. The administration appeared completely helpless. The immersion procession was also stopped in the district demanding the arrest of the murder accused in the entire case. After the persuasion of DM Monica Rani and SP Vrinda Shukla, the devotees got ready for the immersion.

In the case of Ram Gopal’s death and violence, a case of murder was registered against 10 people including Maharajganj resident Abdul Hameed, Rinku alias Sarfaraz, Faheem, Raja alias Sahir Khan, Nankau of Rehua Mansoor and Maroof Ali. One accused Raja alias Sahir Khan alias Danish has also been caught by the police. The accused has been sent to jail from the court.
