During the conference on Waqf Amendment Bill in Delhi, a threat was made in the name of Pakistan and regret was also expressed as to why he did not go to Pakistan. Former MP Mohammad Adeeb kept challenging the government from the stage at the age of 80 and no one even felt the need to interrupt him. Mohammad Adeeb said that we had donated our blood for the country. Muslims had forbidden Jinnah. If we had accepted Jinnah’s words then there would have been Pakistan till Lucknow. The government should oblige us. Mohammad Adeeb was seen saying that today our people are being subjected to atrocities and atrocities. It is our favor that we did not go to Pakistan. He said that we had refused Jinnah, had rejected him and if at that time all of us Muslims would have gone with Jinnah. Our government should accept this favor, then Pakistan would not have been created till Lahore but till Lucknow.

Adeeb regrets why they rejected Jinnah. If we had not done this then today Pakistan would not have been in Lahore but in Lucknow. After this controversial statement of former Rajya Sabha MP Mohammad Adeeb, his statement is being discussed everywhere. He said in his speech in the meeting that I am completing 80 years of age. I have been in politics for more than 50 years. Today we are living like criminals in our area. Now we too have become traitors. He said, those who were with us left us and went to Pakistan, we were blamed for this.

Speaking further, he said that we believe that those who went to Pakistan became heroes, but we have shed our blood here, we have defeated the jinns. We respect Gandhi and Nehru, not Ali Khan. We all did not go with the Muslim Jinn, our government should consider it as our thanks, otherwise Pakistan would have come to Lucknow and not Lahore.
