Actually, Indian Air Force chief Air Chief Marshal AP Singh has given this information on Friday. Just days before Air Force Day, he discussed geopolitical tensions and conflicts in different geographical areas at a press conference. During this, the Air Force Chief said that it is necessary to have indigenous weapon systems to deal with any future security challenge. He told that the Indian Air Force is considering producing all its goods in India by 2047. Let us tell you that Air Force Day is celebrated every year on 8 October.
China is rapidly constructing on LAC
Indian Air Force chief Air Chief Marshal AP Singh has also mentioned China in the press conference. He said that China is building infrastructure at a very fast pace on the Line of Actual Control i.e. LAC. China is doing this work more especially in Ladakh sector.
Update given on S-400 also
Answering a question in the press conference, the Air Force Chief said that Russia has supplied three units of S-400 missile system to India. Russia has promised to supply the remaining two units of S-400 by next year. (input language)
