Several senior leaders, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah and UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, are expected to hold public meetings across the state.

BJP has changed its strategy regarding Maharashtra Assembly elections. After the nomination is over, the election campaign has started gaining momentum. Big rallies of prominent leaders are being organized by both the parties Maha Vikas Aghadi and Mahayuti. Sources have revealed that there will be more than 50 public meetings of prominent BJP leaders during the Maharashtra Assembly elections. Several senior leaders, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah and UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, are expected to hold public meetings across the state.

However, BJP will contest the elections in the state under Haryana’s strategy and the party will focus entirely on local issues. According to sources, PM Modi is planning to hold a total of eight public meetings in West Maharashtra, Vidarbha, Mumbai-Konkan, North Maharashtra and Marathwada. The responsibility of most of these public meetings has been given to Devendra Fadnavis, Nitin Gadkari and Chandrashekhar Bawankule. Sources associated with BJP said that Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will hold 15 rallies in different districts. Like Haryana, in Maharashtra too, CM Yogi will be seen seeking votes for BJP and NDA candidates. Apart from Yogi, Chief Ministers of BJP ruled states will also come to Maharashtra for election campaign.

According to sources, Union Home Minister Amit Shah will hold 20 rallies and Union Minister Nitin Gadkari will hold 40 rallies. Meanwhile, Maharashtra Deputy CM Devendra Fadnavis will lead 50 rallies and BJP state president Chandrashekhar Bawankule will lead 40 rallies. Apart from these, local leaders will also hold rallies. It is noteworthy that even in Haryana elections, PM Modi and Amit Shah held less rallies and most of the rallies were held by local leaders. Following a similar strategy, BJP has made its strategy in Maharashtra also. In Haryana, BJP has formed a record government for the third consecutive time by winning more seats than expected.
