BJP leaders involved in Bahraich violence, this used to happen during Hitler's era: Akhilesh
Lucknow . On the issue of communal violence that took place recently in Bahraich, Uttar Pradesh, SP President Akhilesh Yadav targeted the Bharatiya Janata Party and alleged that some leaders of the ruling government were involved in the violence and this used to happen during the era of German dictator Hitler. By removing the police, the rioters were given free rein to commit violence. Addressing reporters at the party headquarters here, Yadav blamed the BJP for the Bahraich violence and said, “If anyone did the work of rioting in Bahraich, it was a BJP leader. Party MLAs are filing cases against their own workers and sections of conspiracy to riot are included in it.”
Referring to a news released in the media, he said, “A video has also gone viral and I want to congratulate the journalist who gathered courage and got the information from the hidden camera video. The police administration was not present at the spot for several hours and they (rioters) were given a free hand.” The SP chief said, “This is how Hitler used to work. Hitler used to send his party workers forward wearing police uniforms. In Hitler’s time, what happened was to remove the police and let riots happen.”
He alleged that this incident was carried out because BJP people were scared. They have no answer to inflation and unemployment. She is snatching reservation. She does not want to allow the system to be implemented under the Constitution. Former Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Akhilesh accused the administrative machinery of misuse for irregularities in the by-elections to be held on nine assembly seats of the state and said, “The people of PDA (backward, Dalit and minority) families have all united.”
Yadav said, “Law and order in the state has deteriorated to such an extent that incidents are happening even with the police. Be it the rape of a female constable in Kanpur or the seizure of Rs 25 lakh from a policeman. This is the situation not just in one district but in every district.” When asked about the Supreme Court’s ban on bulldozing in Bahraich, the SP chief said, “See, justice will not be provided until the Supreme Court or the people’s court removes the BJP.
