BJP has given its full strength to win the Jharkhand Assembly elections. A day ago, Union Home Minister Amit Shah released the BJP’s resolution letter and today Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed two election meetings in the state and turned the atmosphere into a BJP one. Before the Prime Minister’s rally, the ruling Jharkhand Mukti Morcha in the state suffered another major blow when Mandal Murmu, one of the proposers of Chief Minister Hemant Soren’s nomination from Barhait assembly constituency, joined the Bharatiya Janata Party. Mandal Murmu, a descendant of Sido-Kanhu who led the Santhal rebellion in 1855, joined the party in Deoghar in the presence of Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan and Assam Chief Minister Himanta Vishwa Sharma.

Amit Shah’s attack
Let us also tell you that Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Sunday made a scathing attack on the JMM-led government in Jharkhand, accusing it of “protecting Bangladeshi infiltrators for vote bank politics” and said that if the state If her party comes to power in 2019, it will bring stringent laws to prevent transfer of tribal land to illegal immigrants. Amit Shah also announced that Naxalism will be eliminated from the country by March 2026 and Uniform Civil Code (UCC) will be implemented in Jharkhand without affecting the tribal population. Addressing a BJP rally at Dhalbhumgarh in Ghatsila in East Singhbhum district, Shah had claimed that the tribal population in the state was declining because the Hemant Soren government considered “Bangladeshi infiltrators as its vote bank”. Amit Shah had also announced that if voted to power, BJP would procure 51 forest produce at Minimum Support Price (MSP) and paddy at the rate of Rs 3,100 per quintal, payment for which would be ensured within 48 hours.
What is in BJP’s resolution letter?
Union Home Minister Amit Shah, while releasing the BJP’s manifesto for the upcoming assembly elections in Jharkhand – ‘Sankalp Patra’ – announced that a Displacement Commission will be constituted to ensure rehabilitation of people displaced due to industries and mines in the state. . “Our government will implement Uniform Civil Code in Jharkhand, but tribal communities will be kept out of its purview,” Shah said in Ranchi. The JMM (Jharkhand Mukti Morcha) government (in the state) is propagating the lie that the Uniform Civil Code will affect the rights of the tribals besides affecting their culture. This is completely baseless, as they will be kept out of its purview.” He said that Uniform Civil Code will be implemented, but it will be ensured that the rights of the tribal community are not affected. He said, “If BJP comes to power in Jharkhand, it will deliberate on the issue of ‘Sarna Dharma Code’ and take an appropriate decision. A Displacement Commission will be constituted to ensure rehabilitation of people displaced due to industries and mines in Jharkhand.
Shah said that if the party comes to power, five lakh employment opportunities, including 2.87 lakh government jobs, will be created in Jharkhand. The Home Minister said that BJP will bring a law in Jharkhand to take back land from infiltrators and identify and deport illegal immigrants. Shah alleged that the local administration was promoting infiltration in West Bengal and Jharkhand. He said that BJP will drive out Bangladeshi infiltrators. “During the five-year tenure of the corrupt and insensitive Hemant Soren government, crime against women increased by 29 per cent, while rape cases increased by 42 per cent during this period,” Shah said, criticizing the JMM-led government. Accused the government of giving protection to infiltrators and claimed that the tribal population in the state was declining and the demography was changing rapidly.
He announced ‘Operation Suraksha’, under which he promised to eliminate Naxalism from the state in the next two years besides ending human trafficking in Jharkhand by 2027. Shah said voters will have to choose between the “corrupt JMM government that protects infiltrators” and the BJP that does not allow anyone to cross the border illegally. He said, “Hindus are being attacked and appeasement is at its peak. Jharkhand is the most corrupt state in the country.” He said that the ”question paper leak” in Jharkhand will be investigated by CBI and SIT (Special Investigation Team) and the culprits will be punished. He said that a total of 21 lakh houses would be built under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, while the elderly, widows and disabled persons would get Rs 2,500 as monthly pension. I want to clarify that the United Progressive Alliance (UPA) government had given only Rs 84,000 crore as grants between 2004 and 2014, whereas Prime Minister (Narendra) Modi has given Rs 3.08 lakh crore to the state during 2014 to 2024. He said the BJP government will ensure construction of 25,000 km of highways besides expanding the rail network to connect every district headquarters with the state capital Ranchi. .
