The air quality in the national capital has reached dangerous levels. Air pollution is continuously increasing in Delhi. Meanwhile, BJP spokesperson Pradeep Bhandari has taken on former Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and the AAP government. He took a dig at Arvind Kejriwal and the Delhi government.
Regarding the issue of increasing pollution in Delhi, the BJP spokesperson said, “Pollution in Delhi has reached life-threatening levels. As you can see, my health has deteriorated a bit due to pollution. Today you cannot go without a mask in Delhi. Can roam around.”
Pradeep Bhandari has strongly criticized AAP convenor Arvind Kejriwal. He said, “The situation is such that Arvind Kejriwal used to say that if his government comes to power in Punjab, there will be no air pollution in Delhi. Now the level of air pollution in Delhi has reached ‘very bad’ category. Now the Punjab government will be held responsible. Instead of blaming Uttar Pradesh and Haryana, from where 65 percent of the pollution comes.”
He also recalled Kejriwal’s promise ten years ago to set up a sewage treatment plant in the Yamuna river. “But today the Yamuna is polluted and the pollution level has reached a record high,” he said. Bhandari also expressed concern for children suffering from respiratory diseases. He said, “All the children suffering from respiratory diseases in Delhi are affected by pollution and the Aam Aadmi Party government is responsible for not being able to control it. The Aam Aadmi Party and Arvind Kejriwal have become a curse for Delhi and people’s health. are messing with.”
Questioning Kejriwal’s priorities, he said, “This is why the people of Delhi are asking him that he can install big air purifiers in his 40 crore mansion ‘Sheesh Mahal’ but not provide air purifiers to those living in slums. What about children, who cannot afford such purifiers?” Bhandari said, “Elections will come and go, but at least do not play with the health of the people of Delhi.” According to the Central Pollution Control Board, Delhi’s air quality reached ‘very poor’ category on Tuesday, with the air quality index recorded at 385 at 8:00 am. A thick layer of fog was observed in most areas of the National Capital Region, including Anand Vihar, Kalkaji, Nehru Place and Akshardham Temple, as the city’s air quality continued to deteriorate.
