Bomb Threat Vistara’s Delhi-London flight diverted to Frankfurt after bomb threat

These days, receiving bomb threats on flights has become a common thing. Every day, bomb threat calls are being received on flights. A similar incident happened on Friday when a Vistara flight from Delhi to London was diverted to Frankfurt, Germany. There was reportedly a bomb threat on this flight.

Vistara said in a statement on Saturday morning that the flight had landed safely at Frankfurt Airport and mandatory checks were being carried out. After getting clearance from the security agencies, the flight will leave for its destination.

Vistara spokesperson said, “Vistara flight UK17, scheduled to fly from Delhi to London on October 18, 2024, received a security threat on social media. As per protocol, all concerned authorities were immediately informed and as a precautionary measure But the pilots decided to divert the flight to Frankfurt.”
