Union Agriculture Minister and BJP’s election in-charge for Jharkhand, Shivraj Singh Chauhan said that the people of Jharkhand cannot remain happy with the government of Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) and Congress. In Jharkhand today there is deep darkness of misgovernance, darkness of corruption, development has come to a standstill. There is darkness over law and order in Jharkhand. Roti and Mati are in crisis.

BJP government is needed: Union Minister

Shivraj further said, “If Jharkhand has to be saved, then in the elections that are going to be held after Diwali, I appeal to the people here to bring the BJP and NDA government here. Prime Minister Modi is coming to Jharkhand on the 4th. India’s Home Minister Amit Shah will also hold 3 meetings here. The money sent by the Prime Minister has not completed the work here. Government is needed.”

Nomination of candidates for second phase

Let us tell you that voting will be held in Jharkhand in two phases on 13th and 20th November. A total of 634 candidates have filed nominations for the second phase of Jharkhand Assembly elections. On Tuesday, the last day of filing nominations, 297 candidates submitted their documents to contest elections on 38 seats. Scrutiny of nomination papers will take place on Wednesday, while candidates can withdraw their nominations till November 1.

BJP candidate Gamaliel Hembram on Tuesday filed his nomination from Barhet assembly constituency against Chief Minister Hemant Soren. After filing nomination, Hembram said that contesting elections against the Chief Minister is a challenge, but the people of Barhet have decided to accept this challenge. People of the constituency are still struggling for basic amenities like roads and drinking water.
